them, many challenging ventures require a number of highly skilled members, who are
specialists in their fields, as team members. But such specialists may not be easily available
at one place; so the organizations form virtual teams comprising of widely dispersed
members. Moreover, such teams are faced with a situation in which members are less likely
to:
• share knowledge and learn from one another, and
• share resources so that everyone can complete their tasks and meet deadlines
